Our hardware

Microsoft-certified, not Microsoft-compatible.

There's a meaningful difference between AV gear that works with Teams and AV gear designed by Microsoft and partners specifically for Teams Rooms. We only install the latter. No HDMI dongles, no USB workarounds, no “just plug your laptop in” fallback when the room PC drops out.

MaxHub is our default. Microsoft Teams certified, sharper hardware than most competing certified gear, and the manufacturer we know inside out — which matters when a firmware update lands or a touch panel misbehaves at 9am the morning of a board meeting. We also install Logitech, Yealink, Poly, and Crestron Flex when a specific room or budget calls for one of them.

Each room is configured against your Microsoft 365 tenant before it leaves our workshop, so the first meeting your team runs in it actually starts on time. We monitor every device remotely, push firmware updates outside business hours, and resolve most issues before anyone walks into the room to find them.

From room measurement to first meeting

Typically 2–4 weeks from initial consultation to go-live, depending on room complexity and hardware lead times.

Site assessment & room design

We visit your office, measure the room, assess acoustics, check network infrastructure, and design the optimal configuration for your room dimensions and meeting patterns. You receive a detailed design proposal with 3D layout.

Hardware procurement & pre-configuration

We procure your Teams Rooms hardware and pre-configure all devices in our workshop before installation — Teams Rooms compute module, Microsoft 365 integration, compliance policies, and network settings. Zero configuration time on-site.

Professional installation

Our certified AV technicians handle all cabling, mounting, and installation. Most boardroom installations are completed in a single day — minimal disruption to your business. We manage all trades if structural or electrical work is required.

Testing & staff training

Full end-to-end testing including Teams calls with remote participants, audio coverage testing, and camera tracking verification. We train your staff — typically 30 minutes is all anyone needs to be comfortable with the new room.

Ongoing managed support

Remote monitoring, proactive maintenance, and 24/7 support keep your rooms running flawlessly. Firmware updates are applied out-of-hours. If a hardware issue arises, we resolve it — often remotely, and quickly on-site if needed.

Microsoft 365 integration

Built into your Microsoft tenant. Not bolted to it.

Most AV installers stop when the picture and audio work. We keep going. Every Teams Room we install is properly enrolled in your Microsoft 365 tenant, governed by your Conditional Access policies, included in your eDiscovery scope, and visible in your Teams Admin Centre alongside your user devices. The configuration that an MSP and an AV installer would normally fight over — we just do.

Calendar integration

Room resource calendars in Exchange Online, bookable directly from Teams, Outlook, or the room panel. Auto-release on no-show.

Conditional Access

Room devices enrolled in Intune and governed by your Conditional Access policies and device compliance rules — same posture you apply to your laptops.

eDiscovery & compliance

Meeting recordings, transcripts, and chat captured in Microsoft Purview. The room is in scope for the same retention, hold, and search policies as the rest of the business.

Common questions about Teams Rooms

Yes — each room device requires a Microsoft Teams Rooms Basic or Teams Rooms Pro licence. Teams Rooms Basic is free (with limited features). Teams Rooms Pro (approx. $25 AUD/device/month) unlocks AI-powered camera tracking, meeting insights, and advanced management features. We'll advise on the right licence for each room during the design phase.
